For about a week I've been having a problem with my main computer. It's running F13 and there have been no problems up to now, but recently it's been either hanging indiscriminately (at which point the screen would blink several times and go back to text mode, showing the boot messages, or it wouldn't boot at all. A visual symptom are weird fonts occurring during bootup (see images) - looking corrupt. What could be a cause for this? No software or hardware changes were introduced in recent time which might have caused this. Any ideas?
I hope these macros of the screen are enough to show you the font. There are no other symptoms apart from this and the freezing. If anybody could suggest what should I do (save for a reinstallation - I'm willing to wait for F16), I'd be very grateful.
