So the Fedora Live CD just killed my PC

I just tried out the Fedore 15 Live CD that i just burned and apparently it killed my computer. It started to load, but stopped and the screen was black so I hit reset to cancel it out because I figured maybe it ws a bad disk.
Now when I try to boot my PC, it literally does nothing. It turns on, but nothing else and the screen just stays black. I even tried unplugging it and leaving it off for a few minutes but nothing will boot up. Kind of odd since I have two HDDs in there with two different OSes. I have nevr had his happen with a Live CD bfore.

The live cd cannot do that. It won't brake your computer. Have you checked for a hardware fault?

Like Adunaic, I would be sceptical about it being the Live CD that caused this -- it does sound like a hardware failure.

Assuming this is a desktop PC, then personally, I would open up the case, unplug everything except the primary hard disk (and graphics card if you have one), and see if it can start up then. If you still get no life then I would suspect a failure in the power supply (easily fixable) or the mainboard (bad luck in that case ).

Okay, crisis averted! I still have no idea what the heck happened, but for the heck of it, I popped in a different Live CD for another OS and turned it off and on. It booted up that disk and once I got to the desktop I had it shut down and then restarted with the other disk out. Now everything's fine again.
