dual booting iMacs & FC3?

I've been reading about how Apple is getting ready to release the iMac at a decent price. I've also read that Apples are rock solid. I'm thinking about investing in one of these, though I don't want to leave Fedora Core either. So, I'm wondering if I can dual boot a MAC and FC3? How compatible is Apple's hardware with Linux?

Also, MicroSoft has been plagued by security vulnerabilities, viruses, spyware, and adware for years. Does Apple have the same dark history?

Fedora is not available in the ppc architecture so it will not work at all.

The Mac's new kernel is BSD and is arguably even more secure than linux. Macs are not known for viruses and spyware like Windows is.

If you want to install linux on an IMac (ppc architecture) you should look at another distro that supports it, like www.debian.org

there are no official ISO images (you need to boot of some removable media and instal via net/local disk) and this is developement version...

Yellow Dog Linux (YDL) is based on Fedora - it is Fedora version (+their Mac specific enhancements) for Macs...

Right this very moment I am installing Yellow Dog 4.0 on my g-3 iMac. According to their site it is based on Fedora Core 2. It is still in the install phase, but so far it looks good. Link to it in the Torrent is here; http://cvs.terraplex.com/~owen/ydl4_torrents/
