I dont have the money to buy cd's, yes they're cheap, but to me not cheap enough
So i have downloaded the the 64bit ubuntu cd iso, tried to bring it on USB with DD, which succeeded, but wasnt bootable.
So i've installed unetbootin, and finaly i could boot into ubuntu.
However, during installation i end up in a screen looking alike the boot/shutdown screen with missing plymouth, where the 3 lowest lines say something like:

That screen jumps in at about, guessing since no numbers shown, 75% of installation, and remains the same for over 30minutes, when i tend to shut down the laptop.
The screen remains, neither ctrl+alt+f1-f5, alt+tab nor ctrl+esc seem to work.
However, it recognizes the power off, and i get the 'shutdown screen' from ubuntu.
Any ideas how to avoid the screen?

It seems, just after the language packs, it gets either a panic (1) or hangs up at the below image (7 times).
