Fedora15, not accepting wireless password. [temp Solved]

Hi,

first of all, I have been googling this in and out finding somewhat similar problems, but have been unable to solve it on my own. I am sincerely sorry if this is a known problem and have a known solution, and I just didnt search well enough.

I just installed fedora15 and as the topic states am unable to connect to my wireless network.
I have a D-link usb dongle, G-122, with the Ralink rt2870 chipset. (Rev. E1) The password is 100% correct, and I have tried both hex and regular.
All the networks show up, but it just keeps giving me the "Authentication required" popup after a couple of minutes trying to connect.

I had the same problem with Ubuntu 11.04, but didn't have the problem in prior versions of Ubuntu.

Do any of you gurus know a fix for this?

PS. I am unable to connect to the router through cable.

I have posted the same problem in "network". A different chipset but the same symptoms. No answers in almost 2 weeks. Oh well.

Hm. Well, as it turns out, I tried setting the IP-address manually (also DNS / gateway)
and it connected. I dont know if that was the solution, or it was just a random coincidence, but alas, I am online.

Have you tried doing that?
