Eclipse Android Emulator Issues Fedora 14 32-bit

Everything seems to function properly. Just opening the program (non root user) I am able to play the app I made which was just a simple hello world tester.

The issue:

Takes FOREVER for it run eventually it runs however, when I click "X" to close the App it does nothing but freeze then it runs in the Daemon and I cannot seem to turn it off.

I put the SD Card Mem at 200


I searched for the PID number which is: 3572, I was curious to know how to stop in root (terminal way) this PID. However, most of all how the hell I can fix this issue with the Android Emulator.

I think the problem is the emulator and not the OS. I have emulator running on my Windows 7 laptop and emulator takes long time to start there aswell. On Google I/O 2011 Google engineers addressed this issue and said there will be fix coming.

You can kill PID 3572 with kill -9 3572
