Running Nvidia driver alongside Nouveau drivers

Hi there, I may be new to this forum but I have been using Linux for two years now. I have known that Fedora 15 has Nouveau drivers installed by default. The driver works perfectly with GNOME 3 currently. I would like to install a Nvidia driver as Nouveau does not support 3D and I do some gaming and 3D modelling. However, the current Nvidia 270 drivers break my system as there is a bug with the driver and the model of my graphic card. Thus, I am forced to use a older version of the driver which does not support GNOME 3. Is there a way to run Nouveau for GNOME 3 and Nvidia drivers for games and 3D modelling software alongside???
