Hi,
I keep having this really annoying problem with my internal card reader.
The first time I use it - it works fine. but after unmounting or safely removing the card(tried both) I get an error message:
Code:
mmc0: Got command interrupt 0x00030000 even though no command operation was in progress.
actually this comes out about 8times in a row and of course nothing happens, the card can't be found in the disk manager or anywhere else. The card reader is there when I do
After wasting my time searching the internet, I hope somebody has a good answer for me how to solve this, besides rebooting all the time..

Well, I actually never tried just logging out and logging back in.. but that works too!
so to add to above post, I was actually able to mount one particular SD card 3 times without any problem.
but then i get again. Here's a copy of the system messages for one successful detection and automatic mount, ejection and then the final unsuccessful attempt. After this it's always the same error, no matter what card I use..
Code:
Aug 2 09:43:48 Cap kernel: [95000.286114] mmc0: new high speed SDHC card at address 0002

doesn't anybody have a clue?

I was wondering, why it worked after logging out, because that didn't fix the issue the last time around...
and after producing the error another time, a logout didn't help at all!
Now, I didn't even get a message at all, nor was the card to be found anywhere.
So, I tried to track every step very carefully and something weird happened when I took the card out of the slot entirely here we go:
After the (necessary) reboot, the first successful try:
Code:
Aug 2 10:12:40 Cap kernel: [ 131.359209] mmc0: new high speed SDHC card at address b368
Aug 2 10:12:40 Cap kernel: [ 131.422599] mmcblk0: mmc0:b368 SDC 14.9 GiB
Aug 2 10:12:40 Cap kernel: [ 131.432179] mmcblk0: p1
ejecting in nautilus and removing it, or rather pushing it in again, so it pops out a little
Code:
Aug 2 10:56:30 Cap kernel: [ 2761.146617] mmc0: card b368 removed
Second successful try:
Code:
Aug 2 10:56:58 Cap kernel: [ 2789.213529] mmc0: new high speed SDHC card at address b368
Aug 2 10:56:58 Cap kernel: [ 2789.214869] mmcblk0: mmc0:b368 SDC 14.9 GiB
Aug 2 10:56:58 Cap kernel: [ 2789.222672] mmcblk0: p1
Aug 2 10:58:05 Cap kernel: [ 2855.961401] mmc0: card b368 removed
CORRECTION:
and here's the weird part, when I take the card out of the slot entirely, this pops up when i put it back in loosely, that is not pushing but just half way in the slot:
Code:
Aug 2 10:58:26 Cap kernel: [ 2877.424100] r852: detected xD writeable card in slot
Aug 2 10:58:26 Cap kernel: [ 2877.725198] No NAND device found.
and of course after this, everything goes back to "normal" when I try to put it in:
Code:
Aug 2 10:59:06 Cap kernel: [ 2917.278776] mmc0: Got command interrupt 0x00030000 even though no command operation was in progress.
Aug 2 10:59:06 Cap kernel: [ 2917.324028] mmc0: Got command interrupt 0x00030000 even though no command operation was in progress.
...
after this I do not get the "[...]NAND[...]" error anymore, when i remove the card entirely and put it back in
