I am totally new to the linux platform, i was installing the fedora11 with windows 7.
I will tell you what i have done so far, i have 320Gb hard drive in my acer 4736 laptop with 3gb RAM and core 2 duo processer.
While installing the windows 7 i left the 25gb as unallocate space. Then i installed the windows 7, after that i inserted the Fedora 11 dvd. After few basic steps like date and time, host name settings, the partition windows came.
Then i tried to create the partion in unallocated space by selecting the custom drive configuration. I inserted the following setting,
Mount Type: /
File Type :ext3
but after doing that it giving me unspecified error
. Please report this bug to following the site addresses, ftp or save it to the local drive. Then tried to save to on local drive then it gave the error that drivr not found.
Please please guide me what must be the error in this.
Is there any settings in the bios regarding this such as HDD type AHCI or IDE?
i have installed the windows 7 32 bit ultimate edition.
Awaiting your reply.....Thanks in advance.
