Well, guess I'll bump this. Today, in Fedora 15 KDE, from the sub-menu I created, looks like any app that I open up gets two instances of it. So I guess it has nothing to do with Yumex -- maybe it's a bug or something in the application launcher when I right-click on the desktop.
If I start apps from the same sub-menu using the application launcher menu on the panel, this problem doesn't occur. It's only when I start them from the application launcher that comes up when I right-click on the desktop.
I haven't seen this happening so far in other distros where I'm using KDE4.
I'm not sure what other info to provide here, or what to look for. Any ideas? Anyone seeing some similar behavior?

So, there's a patch, "get rid of duplicate connect." Is this something that will get fixed soon in Fedora, via updates?
