Question files missing u+s on the permissions when building custom livecd

I've built a custom livecd. On my cd files like /lib*/dbus-1/dbus-daemon-launch-helper are owned by bin not root and the rws is rwx on the owner permission.

There are many files like this. Any ideas where I should start looking for the problem?
