New Linux gaming project - must see!

Hi there, yesterday has started brand new gaming project for Linux operating system platform. Here's what was said by project owners:

"Our main goal is to allow Linux users to have best gaming experience on Linux operating system playing most popular games which currently don't work properly or don't work at all like "League of Legends", "Mafia 2", "Assasins Creed", "Grand Theft Auto 4" and much more. We currently working on that to make these games playable on your favorite Linux distribution."

Maybe dream about gaming in linux really comes true?

They onlt way to have decent games on Linux will be to have game studios to actually support Linux!

Re: New Linux gaming project - must see!

....and would YOU be one of the "project owners"? A hint of spam's in the air this afternoon. Let's see if we can find out why.

Well, as expected, this same message is posted around the linux Forums, etc. Now, ordinarily that would constitute spam, especially since the poster didn't bother to read the Posting Rule about clearing such links with the Staff first. That said, it seems that at least one post from someone in the project mentions that it will be free (as in beer), so let's count this as acceptable and hope more info comes out soon. Keep in mind that we're not about to tolerate violations of the Rules in the future.

My bet is http://www.playonlinux.com/en/ pulled together in one package or something (look at the supported game list).
