Thumbs up Post preupgrade

Hello,

I did a preupgrade on the laptop and it went fine. I followed the steps on http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PreUpg...-upgrade_tasks. One thing however is unclear.

The package-cleanup --orphans only shows the packages but not removes them? Do I use yum or rpm to remove them? Is there an easy scrpt/command to remove them all or do I have to do it one by one?

Thanks,

Re: Post preupgrade

I just could not chance a 1.6 gig yum update...so

I waited and slowly the orphans disappeared due to
succession of yum update's
very few yum remove's

now [root@clarice ~]# package-cleanup --orphans
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
flash-plugin-10.3.181.34-release.i386
jre-1.6.0_22-fcs.i586
kernel-2.6.38.7-30.fc15.i686

this kernel is mentioned in grub.conf so I'll wait

dunno about jre-1.6.0_22-fcs.i586

flash-plugin-10.3.181.34-release.i386 is a result of yum not working when installing the latest adove flash
