Mplayer DVD subpicture decoder

Mplayer says it needs a DVD subpicture decoder. gstreamer-plugins-ugly is installed. How can I install this?

Re: Playing DVDs with MPlayer

Install all the gstreamer-plugin

packages from rpmfusion, both the free and the non-free

you might also want to install libdvdcss as well

check your /home/username/.mplayer/gui.conf

to see if your optical drive is set as below

dvd_device = /dev/sr0/"

Then, I think you should be good to go.
