Focus-follows-mouse in Gnome 3?

In Gnome3, how do I turn on focus-follows-mouse? In Gnome2 it was an option in the Windows control panel.

Also is there a way to display the CPU and Network usage in the status bar? I'm missing the Hardware Monitor applet.

It's still possible to turn Caps Lock into an additional control! In Gnome 2 this was in Keyboard -> Layouts but moved in Gnome3 to Control Panel - > Region and Language -> Layouts -> Options -> Ctrl key position -> Make Caps Lock an Additional Control. I would have bet money that the crack-addled Gnome UI hatchet monkeys would eradicate this.

Two-finger scrolling in Control Panel -> Mouse -> Trackpad. This is great, it even does momentum.

Alt-F1 brings up the Activities window if your keyboard doesn't have a Windows key.

Dragging to the top of the screen to maximize and to the sides to tile is fantastic. Now if I could just toss windows instead of dragging them the whole distance it would be even better.

Overall, Gnome 3 has some rough edges but is looking better than I'd expected. I think it's going to have a good future.

These applets were removed.
At least for now. You'll have to use conky or some other utility instead.

That's a disappointment. Is there some plan for all the wasted screen real estate in Gnome3? The bar along the top of my screen is 80% pure black and 80% useless. That's not by design, is it?

What's funny is they put the clock smack in the middle like it's the most important feature on the entire desktop, looming over everything you do. What's the rationale behind that? It's rather irritating, like something out of Brazil (the movie).

That is by design. The rational according to Gnome, is that it is what users
are clamouring for. Deep down inside at least if not on the surface.

actually, when I get into working on something. the clock gets ignored on my system. Now when just playing around, I like having the clock. But not when I'm working. When I work, I do what needs to be done, and stop when I get done. Time makes no difference.
