I just bought my S10-3 and faced exactly the same problem!
Here is the solution that works:
1) When you are booting Fedora from CD/DVD/USB choose the appropriate line at the GRUB screen with arrows. For LiveCD it is "Boot" and for Installation Media it is something like "Install or upgrade"
2) Press TAB buttion
3) You will be able to add kernel options
4) Write "intel_idle.max_cstate=0" at the end of the line without quotes.
5) Press Enter to boot with custom parameters.
I found that solution here:

I've successfully installed Fedora 14 64-bit to Lenovo S10-3 laptop.
First time you boot it is necessary to add above mentioned parameter to kernel at GRUB menu and then insert it to /boot/grub/grub.conf to become permanent.
