Hi everyone,
this is my first post here. Here it goes. I am using Fedora 12, 32-bit on ASUS ul50vt with kernel 2.6.32.26-175. My boot.log looks like as in the attachment.
The areas that bother me are:
1) Enabling the nvidia driver: *** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/python: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00158822 ***
Earlier I used to get the message nvidia driver already enabled.
2) /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions: line 520: 1190 Aborted "$@"
[FAILED]
What do the messages mean. Have I done anything wrong? I am using proprietary nvidia drivers not the noveau ones.
I'll be glad if you could help. Also please let me know if you need more information.
