Problems install Epson v33 Scanner

Hi,

Just got Fedora up and working and trying to setup my Epson V33 Scanner, I have downloaded the Driver packages from Avasys (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1447789&highlight=epson+scanner)

So after some googling I did find the rpm for Mandriva (would this be safe to install on Fedora?)
