After F14 install, how to restore F11 data

Hi All,

I'd like to update the os From F11 to F14 or 15 in the near future. The big stumbling block is how to I restore user accounts and folders, mysql data, and dbmail ?

I'm also considering switching from a i386-686 base to the x64 base, any advantages in doing so?
memory size is 4 gig and partition sizes are under 2gig.

Since a new drive will be utilized, all the OS specific and user files will be "backed up" on the drive being 'retired' Is there a guide that describes how to do this with the least amount of "effort and 'gotcha's"

Any other suggestions or advice?

Thanks

Re: After F14 install, how to restore F11 data

Over the last two upgrades, I have had no difficulty with user data -
I have user data on a separate disk, so I just mount it.

My last upgrade path was to duplicate the root filesystem, and verify
that it could be booted. Once that was done, I reinstalled (I was going from fedora 11 to fedora 13) on the old filesystem. Any missing files
I copied - mostly from /etc (network configurations), customized web data (/var/www/html...). I didn't have any active databases or VMs, but
I could have copied them too.

Big thing to remember - All files on Fedora have a SELinux label, and these are significant. Occasionally they will change internal values due to changes in definitions, so it sometimes requires relabeling.
