Post boot failed sleeping forever, please help

Hi,

I installed Fedora 14 along with Windows 7 ultimate. Inadvertently I have deleted/formatted the Fedora partition from Windows 7. So, whenever i boot the system it boots directly to fedora OS and shows the following

" Boot is failed and sleeping forever "

So, Could anyone please help me in this regard.

Thanks in advance.

Surya Prakash.

Re: boot failed sleeping forever, please help

That's Grub, the boot manager that Fedora installed. It can't find Fedora, which I guess was the default OS. I'd suggest install Fedora again. After installing it, edit /boot/grub/grub.conf and change the timeout to ten. Then remove the hash mark front the front of hiddenmenu. Then when you boot you'll have a menu offering Fedora and Windows, even if you remove Fedora again.
