I am a newbie. I bought a new Sony laptop a few days ago and I now dual boot Windows 7 and Fedora 14. I spent hours trying other Linux distros on live CD and they all had big problems. Fedora is the only distro that allows me to use my track pad and hear sound through my speakers with few issues.
I just wanted to say I am happy with Fedora 14. It is nice to see a Linux distro with no spelling and grammar errors. The other distros seemed amateurish and unpolished. By the way, the Fedora 14 live CD works great on my Intel Mac, too. I
