FC2 USB Mouee + Sound = useless mouse

Hey all, just thought I'd post this,
got FC2 installed on my Acer Aspire 1501
only problem I am having is when I start listening to music in xmms my usb mouse stops working

here's what the syslog is saying:

May 24 00:01:43 JOSHTECH64 kernel: spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7.
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: irq 11: nobody cared! (screaming interrupt?)
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: Call Trace:
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: [<021070c9>] __report_bad_irq+0x2b/0x67
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: [<02107161>] note_interrupt+0x43/0x66
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: [<02107327>] do_IRQ+0x109/0x169
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel:
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: handlers:
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: [<0221522d>] (usb_hcd_irq+0x0/0x4b)
May 24 00:01:48 JOSHTECH64 kernel: Disabling IRQ #11

now what is odd is that this only happens while my wireless button is enabled(drivers are not installed yet for the actual wireless card)

any suggestions?

thanks for any help
Josh

your sound card and usb port is sharing master IRQ, try disable properties you dont use such as pararel port and serial port it might free up some irqs

another easy way is get USB to PS2 convertor
