linksys wrt54g router unresponsive

Hi,

I am running Fedora 13 and I have a linksys WRT54G wireless router [1,2]. I'm having a strange problem. I'm using a computer connected to the router via a wired connection. At intermittent moments the connection seems to stop. I can't even ping the router (192.168.1.1). However, if I make NetworkManager reconnect to eth0 the connection immediately comes back and I can ping the router and navigate to websites. If I wait a random amount of time the connection also seems to comes back on its own (without reconnecting via NetworkManager).

Any idea if this is a hardware (router) problem or a software problem? This didn't happen a month ago.

P.S: I have already updated to the latest firmware (Ver.8.00.8).

Thanks,
