Question No Sound on Asus K50IJ

Hello,
I am new to Linux and have recently installed Fedora 13.

I am running an ASUS K50IJ notebook with a Intel 82801I (ICH9 Family) Audio Controller.

I have checked all my mute and volume settings with no luck, everything is as should be.

I have run alsamixer _D hw:0 and found that all is good, except headphone volume will not set, however I want to use the laptop speakers, which worked fine before I removed Win7.

Searched the forums and I am stumped

Any help appreciated.
Wyatt
