No wireless capability on Dell 1397 WLAN.

I just installed Fedora this evening, and to date I've been unable to get my wireless to work. I've got a Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card, and to date I've tried...

I have the driver and everything, but my wireless network just refuses to show up.

I've tried everything I saw in googling threads, but it's done me no good. Any response would be appreciated!

There is a good chance that your wireless adapter is using a Broadcom chipset. And there is a good chance that it will work with either the b43 driver that comes with Fedora kernels or the Broadcom 802.11 STA Linux driver that can be compiled from source or installed with yum from RPM Fusion. You said you tried things but didn't say what things you tried. So what can anyone do but start at the beginning with the usual steps? First is to identify the chipset. That matters because it's how to determine what driver to install. I am fairly confident that adapter is using the PCI bus and this terminal command in Fedora will identify the wireless chipset...
