Re: yum does not work on FD13
I'm hitting the same problem. It started within the last couple days so I suspect an update of some sort, but haven't chased the problem terribly far. The packagekit-media.repo file is definitely the culprit, and after adding the the enabled=0 to the file the problem was fixed for a while. Eventually something rewrote the file to its original form. I also ran the yum clean and check-update commands as requested and they did not help.
Interestingly the file has a date of May 12 which makes me think it's being copied from somewhere instead of written out fresh, but that's just speculation and there is no other file by that name on my system. For the time being I'm just removing the file and running yum manually since the applet is just failing with an internal error due to this.
By the way, this was a Fedora 12 laptop that I upgraded using yum. Not an endorsed way to upgrade I know, but has worked 99% of the time for me. Any suggestions before I add a cron job to remove the file? =)
