    Question dummy output ? -no sound

    hi guys
    i am currently using fedora 13 on my acer laptop
    and im experienceing this little anoying little glitch where my audio cuts out and loads some kinda dummy output device it hapens when im in the middle of watching a movie or surfin the web often when this happens the compiz fusion desktop disapears as whell and when i try to enable it i get that error about acelerated 3d not being suported witch is imposible because my computer uses the standard intel graphics card
    what i tmporarily do is i simply logout and log back in again the compiz fusion loads right away and the sound comes back after i login and out several times
    is there a way i can just get rid of the null/dummy output device?

    Kill the pulseaudio daemon and it will spawn back to life automatically with proper output device.
    Code:
    $ pulseaudio -k
    Leave no window unbroken ♪ (^。^)
