want to install fedora but need help uninstalling ubuntu.

i decided to completely remove ubuntu and get fedora. it was a mess anyway, i booted windows and uninstalled ubuntu in add or remove but it hasn't seemed to free up the 230GB(odd) of space that the virtual drive was (i used wubi). is the virtual drive still there? if so where is it and how do i delete it?

i also deleted the 'ubuntu' folder in C:

Don't know anything about Wubi but is this the file you deleted - c:\ubuntu\disks\root.disk as that's the "disk" that the install creates I believe. I assume you must have specified the size of 230GB as that seems a lot.....

yeah thats what i deleted, yeah i need a lot of space as i download a lot of games and applications, also i have a lot of videos

Might be a stupid question but it's not still in your recycle bin is it?

no i emptied the recycle bin.

another strange thing is that ubuntu is still listed as a bootable OS when i turn my PC, but when i select it it just brings up some kind of error page.

Do you still have the C:\wubildr* directories as they need to go too.

I know in vista there were issues with wubi and it couldnt be uninstalled properly.
