rpcbind: server not responding, timed out

Hi,

Few Fedora 8 machines are connected as clients to Fedora 8 server. Home directories in server are mounted to client by NFS and running NIS. We could connect to clients and server from outside machines by ssh. Everything was fine.

Suddenly, a problem started with a client machine (not all, other are fine). When I ssh to this machine from outside, it is having problem in mounting home directory and takes longer time (sometime a min and more) to connect. I saw following errors in server dmesg.

---------------------------------------------
rpcbind: server .. not responding, timed out
lockd: server .. not responding, timed out
lockd: server .. not responding, timed out
lockd: server .. not responding, timed out
lockd: server .. not responding, timed out
............

PS: Here, server is actually the name of the client machine where I am trying to connect.
---------------------------------------------

All computers, server and clients, are identical (have Fedora 8 in all).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
