Unhappy shut down problem

Hello, I installed fedora 11 on a asus eeepc 1101 ha (intel atom 1.4 ghz, 2 gb ddram) I installed 11 because it was the one that supported the melasa driver for the graphic card which was not detected by default. Everything is working (wireless sound compiz network) But when i shudown just when the os is trying to stop the x server it gets stuck and remains there no error no nothing just when the icons go away it freezes. I tried halt -h now. same thing. If i try to log off x freezes reboot same thing. If i try to stop x myself same problem even if i do for example init 3 it freezes. I am able to boot the netbook in in init 3 and than go to init 5 no problem. jUst can not shut down from init 5 any suggestions pls ?
