Exclamation AC Adapter ACPI error

Hello,
on my Laptop (running 2.6.32.9-70.fc12.x86_64) the AC Adapter is not recognized properly with acpi.

dmesg | grep linux returns:
Quote:
ACPI Error (psargs-0359): [\_PR_.CPU0._PPC] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND
ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.ADP0.ADJP] (Node ffff88013ba615e0), AE_NOT_FOUND
ACPI Error (psparse-0537): Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.ADP0._PSR] (Node ffff88013ba615a0), AE_NOT_FOUND
ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, Error reading AC Adapter state (20090903/ac-140)
I read that this is a kernel problem and it could work if the ac adapter is compiled as a kernel module.

Is there a fix anywhere? I don't like to comile a new kernel, therefor I don't feel certain enough
