No idea how to contact them. Just for kicks I tried your yum command. Here's the result:
Code:

No package libdvdcss-debuginfo available.

Wonder if someone is working on that file since I get "not available". You are running Fedora 12?

I am running fc12 on a couple machines, but this one has fc11... that's why the repo is pointing to
http://rpm.livna.org/repo/11/i386/debug/

i.e. fc12's livna-debug file is located at http://rpm.livna.org/repo/12/i386/debug/

Assuming Gnome, perhaps you don't have livna-debug checked in gpk-repo (System->Administration->Software Sources)? At least that looks like a Gnome-type name.

Apparently the libdvdcss package is the only reason for livna.org's continued existence after the rest of it merged to RPM Fusion.

I'm trying to get setup on the rpm-fusion mailing list... but according to the archive there have been only 4 posts this month in the Users list (none concerning livna). So I'm not sure what kind of response I'll get there.

But I appreciate the quick reply.

Correct, as is clearly stated on the front page at rpm.livna.org:
Quote:
All packages have been moved there [RPMFusion.Org] except one that RPM Fusion for various reasons didn't want to take. Hence rpm.livna.org will remain running to ship just that package.
Have you tried the usual:
su
yum clean all

Lather, rinse, repeat ? Do you really, really need the libdvdcss-debuginfo package ? Assuming that you do, I'd just go ahead with a bug report at RPMFusion.

I'd say you're correct on all counts. No livna-debug, Gnome user, libdvdcss is the only reason to use Livna these days. Mailing lists can be useful. Often times they are. On the other hand, I often find them to be frustrating and useless.

I believe Thorsten Leemhuis maintains Livna ( contact details on fedoraproject link ) .

No help... here's why
Code:
Actual SHA1 hashes of files in repo/mirrors:
libdvdcss-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 5c56ce6d51f82584e1f9be09cb7be40106c14536
libdvdcss-devel-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 44483d8a146bf1bcf1734e3da5cbe7bbf9f96351
libdvdcss-debuginfo-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 6561c19f4be4f7c7d1d175fa8e4d6f8b0418e2fa

SHA1 hashes yum looks for, obtained from primary.xml files:
libdvdcss-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 5c56ce6d51f82584e1f9be09cb7be40106c14536 Match
libdvdcss-devel-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 44483d8a146bf1bcf1734e3da5cbe7bbf9f96351 Match
libdvdcss-debuginfo-1.2.10-1.i386.rpm - 133efc397ad79118091b3a5c73fdbf7d9c962c18 Oops!
So, yeah... I'll post that in the mailing list too.

Thank you (both), though.

I could find no confirmation in those links that Thorsten has anything to do with the livna repos, so I'll just ignore that possible misinformation and post the problem only to the mailing list.
