Headphones. Sound from headphones and speaker

I have a problem.
When I plug in headphones I thought that will have sound in headphones only, but it sounds from the speakers (dynamics) too.
Soo, it's not good
How can I fix it?

I have laptop Samsung X11

windows_xp_2003firefox
right click on your volume icon and choose " sound preferences , or go to the system/hardware/sound menu item

go to the output tab and choose your output device and the appropriate output connector
