hello to everybody,
I successfully installed a fedora 12 64 bit distro on my hp pavilion dv7-3020el (VT325EA).
Had a minor issue with headset that I solved thanks to this forum. But now I have two problems that I don't know how to solve...
1) when I start the pc the first thing that appears is a message of cpu cooling failure, the boot stops on this message until I press enter as requested by the message. This happens only if I closed my last session from fedora system, not if I switched off the pc from Windows. Any ideas?
2) I start the system and everything looks fine, but when I switch user the screen begins to flicker and I have to reboot to have things right again.
The flickering happens also when I switch off the pc, the last messages fedora gives while going down always appear flickering. I installed the nvidia drivers using easy life.
Tell me if you need more info, I'm not a total newbie but I'm a normal user without much knowledge of the heart of the system.
