we are running Fedora12 on some of our servers for some time now and are really happy with it. Now I'm investigating the best way to setup virtual machines in order to streamline our infrastructure. The setup I'm aiming for is Fedora, Centos and windows guests on Fedora12 host. The main question is around storage and the IO performance differences between disk partitions and disk images.
We have free disk space in our server and if the best to is to have separate partitions per guest I'd like to know how to configure these via virt-manager i.e new pool? new volume?
