problem with Sirius internet radio after today's updates?

Is anyone having a problem streaming Sirius internet radio after today's updates? I'm hearing little pops and cracks every so often and before I ran the update everything was fine. I believe the only audio software that was updated was gstreamer. I can play audio files in rhythmbox with no problem so I'm not sure what's going on. I don't know enough to figure out if I'm having a gstreamer, pulseaudio, etc problem, but I'm just wondering if I'm alone with this problem.

Also, is there still a way to switch to the xine backend to totem? I'd like to try this to see if I can eliminate gstreamer as being the problem. I don't see totem-backend in any repository to install so I don't know if this is still an option.

If anyone could help out, I'd certainly appreciate it.
