A very good move Duli, in most cases, due to the alpha nature of the plugin, many x64 distros resort to installing x32 versions by default and that degrades flash performance considerably.

Hello:

nvidia driver installation was broken. I have fixed it in easyLife version 1.8.1-1.

Cheers!

Duli,

Tried it out, still doesn't work. I had to manually install the driver. This is on Fedora 12 x64.

Arup: thanks for the feedback. I'll double check it to see what's going on.

Duli:
My previous two posts both unanswered has me wondering if I avoided something at sign in or my being 3 years away from 80 makes me a pariah
Seriously I love Fedora 12 but I have 3 pressing concerns.
1. How do I get yum on my desktop? I am installing programs by terminal and not having any luck with sound for my audacious audio. 2. I usually use alsa-mixer and obviously not available. What is?
3. I installed 12 to my secondary unit that only had one other partition and grub did not load to MBR.
I installed here first because my main unit is 8 partitions and did not want to get involved in recapturing. So is there a point in install where I can gain near absolute assurance that grub will load to MBR which is in XP.
Thank you so much for giving this old man your ear.
Have a great Sunday

Hello, Arup:

The package on the server was the wrong one. Now it's substituted. Everything should work now. Thanks a lot.
