fonts corruption in Firefox 3.5?

I am wondering if there are any fonts issue with Firefox. Firefox version is 3.5.4. The fonts for lowercase 'd' and 't' (well, not sure how to describe but the appearance is screwed up) are not showing up correctly. I can't even distinguish the letter....
