Sorry: Dumb DHCP Client Question

Greetings,

Forget the command for reconnecting a dhcp client. Thought the command was ./dhclient or something like that but once an interface is down for an extended period of time the dhcp client will not reconnect. Tried ifconfig eth0 down and up but of course that command does not activate the dhcp client to connect.

What is the command?

Sorry! Don't know how to delete this post but an individual forgot the Linux MAN pages can be accessed from a terminal. The dhclient MAN page answered this individual's question.

No need to delete it, and it's a good lesson for others. I can lock it if you so desire, but it's probably not necessary. (By good lesson, I mean, they can see that you figured it out by reading the man page, and at least *some* others will try to do the same.)
