Download codecs on another computer and install them?

I need to install restricted codecs (MP3, WMA, etc) in Fedora but I wanna download them at home. Is there a way I can download them in Ubuntu, put them on my USB Hard drive and install them from there?

Hello mpg187
http://fedorasolved.org/multimedia-s...s/win32-codecs

The link above may help, you can use the first command
Code:
wget http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/all-20071007.tar.bz2
on PC 1, move or copy to a USB drive then follow the rest of the guide when you're ready (copying or moving the file over to the other pc of course).

Hope this makes sense ... oh and in your sig you say you're an ubuntu user trying Fedora; I'm a Suse user doing the same ... ARGH, it's so different!!!!

Is there a place where I can download all the RPM packages that way I don't have to use bandwidth everytime I need to do this?

You can use PackageKit to do this. You first need to create a package list for the target machine, then you use that list and pkgenpack to download the program you want along with all the dependencies, you can even include all updates if you want.

pkgenpack.pdf

There's also a gui for that command, just search for it with yum.

I was trying the autoten method before and it was going really slow. I think I shut down before it was done, whenever I open an MP3 file I get a message in the system tray saying "SELinux AVC Denial"
