I bet you changed the location when booting the live image - what locale did you select?

My locale is zh_CN.UTF-8.

Err, it reminds (why i forget so many stuff...) that i was unable to start the "Install to Hard Disk" (anaconda) if i chose the en_GB.UTF-8.

The same exception occurred when change the locale to en_US.UTF-8 both in grub kernel parameter and GDM login.

Confirmed. This problem does not only happen in VBox but also on real stuff.

I successfully reproduced it on my laptop with fresh F12 Beta installation. It seems that only en_US.UTF-8 works without problems because the en_GB.UTF-8 also failed.

it's https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=528317 , as I said. It's known and we're working on it (actually, we have a fix already but it's rather invasive, so we had some tricky decisions about whether to include it and how to test it properly).

Any locale *not* in the fourth column of this table:

has the problem. Any locale that *is* listed there will work.
