updates/add-remove FC6

I have Fedora Core 6 and I can not get the updates and add or remove programs to work... I have included images to show what I am talking about... If anyone has a solution please let me know.

You should use Fedora 11. FC 6 is out of date.

Fedora 6 reached 'end of life' a couple of years ago. There are no more updates available.

how do i get a newer version of FC? I dont have a dvd player on my comuter.

You can download a Live CD version which includes an installer or a 6-CD set. Also, there's a lot of other options: http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora

ok now i have Fedora 11 / i386
I need to figure out how to configure the resolution. it is stuck on 800x600
