RESOLVED: OpenSSL breaks OpenVPN install
I have been at this problem for hours. I have installed the newest OpenSSL from thier website, i am using the newest version of OpenVPN. When i try and configure OpenVPN, it stops at trying to find the OpenSSL crypto headers.
This is an awesome link but it does not address my problem, i have search the forum and googled it.
Any help is welcomed.

I figured out the problem, you need to define where the openssl is by using
Code:
./configure --with-ssl-headers=/usr/local/ssl/include --with-ssl-lib=/usr/local/ssl/lib

There can be several reasons why it is not working (eg fw setting blocking udp port 5000).
What are the log files telling you?

Thanks for your help, but after seeing me struggle with this for all of the day, my boss jumped in and install 'pop-top' vpn service on another machine, and got it working in 2 hours...*sigh*
Thanks for your help though!
