F11 updates will broadcom-wl

I am using broadcom-wl on my HP mini 1000, and the latest round up updates has killed wireless. This has happened before, and I was unable to get ti working again. I had to nuke and reinstall.

This is beginning to get irritating. What needs to be done to bring wireless back to life? I have tried removing the broadcom-wl and akmod-wl packages, and reinstalling them. I also tried rolling back to the previous kernel.

Bah. Do I need to nuke again?

The problem is that the last round of F11 updates updated the kernel to 2.6.30 for which there was no corresponding working wl-kmod (broadcom-wl) in the rpmfusion repos (my fault!).

Reboot to 2.6.29 kernel for the timebeing. There is a working broadcom-wl update coming to the rpmfusion repo very shortly. I am testing it right now and will push it to stable this afternoon. You'll need a working network connection to download it, so either boot to 2.6.29 kernel or use wired ethernet.
