Network Manager doesn't reconnect after a time period

i m using fedora 10
network manager connects on start up and it tries to connect just after getting disconnected. but it doesn't reconnect after a little long time from being disconnected . its shows the network strength available but doesnt try to connect .and i have to connect it manually

is there any way so that it can search for the available network all the time and tries to connect whenever finds them.
