Gooday Kantu. What have you tried? I had some issues after installing F10 and having it update this morning. I finally got the sound going after following some advice I found after typing "volume" into the search bar. It's a really common glitch right now, there are hundreds of posts about this. I hope you find the answer for your particular problem soon. Regards, James.

[kantu@localhost ~]$ cat /proc/asound/cards
0 [CA0106 ]: CA0106 - CA0106
AudigyLS [Unknown] at 0x1040 irq 22
1 [Intel ]: HDA-Intel - HDA Intel
HDA Intel at 0xa3100000 irq 22
this tells that my soundblaster card is infact the default one but still no sound from it
i dont know wat to do ?

I am afraid I cant be much help Kantu as I did half a dozen things before I got it going. Do you have driver installed for it? Have you got pulse audio from synaptic?
