Red face Fedora 11 and KDE (as default?)

Will Fedora 11 come out with KDE as default, or do you have to download it separately??

you have to download that seperately just download the F11 KDE4 LiveCD ann install it

KDE4 will also be available as an optional desktop on the DVD, you can install KDE from there as well ... with or without the default gnome desktop. But most fedora admin tools will still be written in GTK.

Second question: Is there any app or 'mod' that you can easily switch between gnome and kde. Thus install both kde and gnome and just change them whenever you like?

You can switch you DE from login manager. For GDM you have to select user to be able to choose environment you'll boot into, in KDM the buttons are visible all the time.
Switching between login managers is done via /etc/sysconfig/desktop
If the file doesnt exist create it, mine looks like that:
Code:
DISPLAYMANAGER=KDE

you can switch between KDM and GDM by installing system-switch-displaymanager, which you can run from the command line to select your display manager of choice. In both you can select if you want to log into Gnome or KDE. personally I think KDM is a little more easy to use and configure.
