second life

second life doesn't work

i have this error message

before you ask nss-softokn-freebl is installed (libfreebl3.so is here)

yum list nss-softokn-freebl

Installed Packages
nss-softokn-freebl.i586 3.12.3-3.fc11 installed

worked perfectly in fedora 10

any idea guys ?

Do we need to ask Linden Labs for a new build based on the new nss-softokn-freebl libraries? I've been mucking about with this for a couple days now, all points to the new libs. Would it be feasible to downgrade to F10 nss for a workaround?

have you tried removing the libfreebl3.so file in the second life directory? that way it will default to the system installed libfreebl3.so.

Most excellent! At least that allowed me to start the client. Thank you!!!! I will add this information to the bug I wrote in JIRA.
