[SOLVED]Showing Desktop on KDE, post-install

Hi.

I just installed F10KDE and my desktop widget (the one that shows all of the objects on the desktop) is not showing. How do I get it to show?

Thank you,
theAdmiral

By right clicking on an empty bit of desktop and selecting "+Add Widgets..." from the dropdown menu. Then from the add widgets menu scroll down to the "Show Desktop" widget, select it, and click the add widget button.

Didn't work as expected

Lindy,

Nice to hear from you again. Hope all is going well.

Your solution did not work as anticipated. I am attaching a *.png screen shot to show you the results. Any ideas, please?

Thanks,
theAdmiral

Attachment does not show

My attachment does not show. At any rate, the result of the operation that you suggested, Lindy, was an approximate square in the top left corner of my screen. You could fit a quarter inside of it. That was supposed to have been the added widget, being the Desktop.

Could be there's something missing from your KDE install? Try running==> yum list installed kde* and compairing it to==> yum list available kde*
