Sound mutes randomly... only fixed by restarting X!

Hi all,

I have a very strange sound related problem!

I use my fedora 10 box for MythTV. Randomly, the sound will mute. Checking the mixer, nothing has been muted. Muting and unmuting has no effect.

So I tried restarting mythfrontend. No effect.

I tried restarting all processing that were started as part of my xsession. No effect.

If I restart Xorg itself, the sound comes back!

Here is my lspci output
